Our first day of STARS kicked off with a spectacular scavenger hunt in the quad of East High.  We had a huge turnout of girls – 87 students to be exact!  For the first day, girls scoured the East High campus collecting data, taking plant samples, creating tree rubbings and having a great time looking at their campus with a science lens.

At the end, girls gathered around the table and talked about their findings.  There was also a huge buzz around campus about the overnight camp that took place on September 29th – October 1st.
