After a whirlwind of new things, the scavenger hunt, the Eco Extravaganza and camp, we were back at East High.  The girls were armed with questions and knowledge for all of their experiences – ready and eager to find out what was next!  For Week 3, our pre-service teachers were ready with exciting ways of helping the girls figure out what questions they wanted to investigate.

Each group had a unique way of brainstorming – students wrote things out on the whiteboard, they did personality tests and exchanged ideas in the atrium on the glass as they worked together to figure out what things they wanted to investigate.  By the end of the day, girls from red, green and blue teams narrowed their investigation down to disease and public health, yellow team expressed interest in how the environment around them affected how well students studied and performed, and purple team wanted to center their investigations around food.
