This makes me think about how we view our students “Learning Style and Profile” (Silver & Hanson, 1998). If we know who we are as educators, how do we translate that into how we teach? Personally, as an understanding type learner I instruct my lessons that way, predominantly. How do I modify teaching style into something that encompasses all learning styles, even if they are uncomfortable to me? This is a very thought provoking question that really needs to be answered for the benefit of students.

Yesterday was a amazing example of “doing” science! Our girls (7th grade green team) were showing off their knowledge and personalities being taped! Jodi, Cailin, and Jazmin really demonstrated the “fun” in science! My favorite thing is how many girls told me “I learned something new today” Yeah! Go team
