The topic that was assign to talk about was to say any troubles that we are having with the course so far. For me it's trying to apply equations hypothetically this is because the way my mind works is more toward trying and learning rather than what we did almost all last year in chemistry where theoretical problems were all we solved, but all of the other things that we have actually tried and demonstrated or are going to complete using the equations make sense to me because it's applying them to real instances not made up ones but I really don't know why it is so much harder for me to do than the real things because its the same problems just different numbers. That's the only trouble I have with the class otherwise Physics it awesome!!

we heat our house with fuel oil. If we had the option to switch we would go with anything cheaper.

We heat our house with fuel oil. I would say that we should switch to a pellet stove because it seems cheaper and more efficient. However, I didn't quite understand how these work when we were talking about them in class so I would have to learn more about it.

We heat my house with a combination of propane and fuel oil. The majority of our heating is done through fuel oil, but we have a small propane stove as well. My parents also have a small electric space heater to heat their attic rooms.

I think that, of the options we've covered in class, switching over to a combination of geothermal heating and a pellet stove seems like the best option. I've talked about this with my dad though, and he pointed out that proper insulation is truly the most important change to make, before we change our heating system - our house is completely uninsulated, and it makes any type of heating much more costly than it should be.

All of the heating in our apartment is done with propane. If switching was an option, the most optimal combination in my mind would be geothermal coupled with a wood stove for the wintertime, plus heating costs could be reduced further with the installation of really well-insulated windows and walls.

I have two houses and both mainly use some other fuel than kerosene, but both of our houses have a back-up although we rarely use it. Most of the time at our dads house we use our newly installed pellet stove and at my moms house we use a wood stove which is relatively new. If we could switch we would definitely try to do geothermal, so that we wouldn't need air conditioners in the summer.

My house is currently being heated with oil, but we are in the middle of a switch to geothermal. We chose to make this change because, although it uses more elctricity, our oil use is going to decrease and the cost to heat our house will decrease significantly.

we use oil and propane to heat my house and i would probably switch over to a pellet stove because of how cheap it is and it seems to burn cleaner than wood. And with in 2 years i would recover my costs in the saving i would earn

The type of fuel source that I use is wood. I would not change it if I could because it is the cheapest and I like having my house at about 72 degrees in the winter and being able to sit in front of the fire.
